Wood Craft / Pegboards

In older houses you often see long pegboards in attics, store rooms or in the entrance hall. Depending on the location they have different designs, plain and rustic in simpler rooms or with carved or planed moldings and carefully whittled pegs in more distinguished spaces.  From the 19th century and on the pegs are often turned.

Peg boards made today are often painted and decorated, made for use in bathrooms, kitchens, vestibules or bedrooms.
